yesterday we redeemed our Jochen-Schweizer voucher and for the 180 km long trip to la mer.our conclusion: as others have already noticed - who expects an underwater dinner ', is either ultrablond or still believes in the Easter bunny..besides the cumbersome,too dark lighting. the restaurant is an underwater cave and there is no floodlight. to menu: for Jochen-Schweizer guests there are 3 main menus for choice, 2 pre-delivery and dessert is not to choose. so far there was a small suppengruß (carrot ingwer) as well as a few baguette pieces with 2 dips. everything in this was delicious! the main dishes on the beef fillet-sowas from megaleckerz the service forces super-friendly,always made to th...
were there first time but definately not last time. service was kind and helpful. menu as such not too many variations, but enough selection so that everybody could find something according to his taste. both starteres and main course were presented very nice and did...taste excellent. papagifish the wine we had was also a good selection. prices are not cheap but reasonable bearing in mind the nice atmosphere and good service. reservation some days ahead would be recommended if you want to sit near the aquarium, but if you have a table in the second or third row you can see the fishes.

Oh, what did we like? we were here with an event voucher and had a complete menu including drinks. the atmosphere is really beautiful, it is not a very large place and the aquarium is really a pleasure. the quality of the food is excellent, the cook performs wondering. the drinks prices are in order, the service is excellent and we were even greeted by the cook and the owner / manager. Oh, what did we like it. We were here with an event coupon and had a full menu included save drinks. The athmosphere is really nice, it's not a very big place and the aquarium really is a treat. The quality of foods is outstanding,...the cook does wonders with it. Drinks prices are alright, service is excellent and we were even greeted by the cook and the owner/manager. When we're back in the area, we will certainly be back. Surely this is one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the best.
You look for an outstanding place to dine. At "La Mer" you got it. Eyeball to eyeball with a shark you can enjoy "Vier Köstlichkeiten" Delights) as appetizer to be followed by "Duett von Zander und Lachs" (duet of zander and solmon) or any...other tasty choice of delicious Mediterranean cuisine. The huge aquarium stretches throughout the full length and height of the restaurant. It will catch your attention throughout the evening as colourful fishes with breathtaking designs pass by.

Used gift voucher from friend. Atmosphere was quite ok however wine ordered was by far not on temperature even not after minutes. Appetizer was good, main course would be ok however found in my wife’s plate a small plastic piece. The apology was absolutely...unreasonable because they said the fish in ocean sometimes eat plastic particles. I think that was a joke and not acceptable. The apology they offer was coffees.
