I've been here a few times in the past and has never been missed. cheaply located on the west end, just a short walk from the new town, the restaurant is very large and offers a large selection of Italian dishes. due to a large space, it feels much more private than in most restaurants in edinburgh, which are quite small. they can actually lead a conversation without anyone being too close to them. if they are a big group, they can join them without problems. a la carte menu is very reasonable and you can find a large selection of pizzas and pastas. as for lunch menu it is £11.95 for two courses that are very reasonable. they should definitely try la piazza when they. read more

visited la piazza on a recent trip to edinburgh. the ambiente is quite elegant and happy for us the place was not crowded on a Sunday afternoon. we went with the selection of brote for beginners. the garlic bread and the bruschetta in this were absolutely delicious. for the net we went with a penne arrabbiata and quattro formaggi pizza. both dishes were fantastic with large portion size. to be filled to try desert. all in a beautiful place to have a quiet meal. prost!

friendly local, very kind Italian staff. we divided fried mushrooms, hot, crispy, excellent and two pizzas, very good. light and digestible pasta, dress the right, well cooked. difficult to choose what to take: the menu ' proposes a lot of delicious dishes, we will return to try other dishes.

shockingly poor eating would be embarrassing if I were Italian! hard pizzas and reheated pasta we have. make you like one and choose another Italian restaurant in edinburgh, there is a lot to choose.

Fantastic food wide selection and great service. Nothing is too much trouble and always done with a smile. Can't recommend this place enough.
