La Porcheta - Reservar una mesa

We have eaten a number of times before at this La Porchetta. The food has always been really fresh and tasty, pricing reasonable and the service ok. Tonight we were served up the most tasteless and overpriced meals, buy a number of disinterested/unskilled and lack lustre staff. We had to ask for water. Were not offered side plates even though we were sharing meals and needed up eating over our napkins because to get the attention of a server was impossible. The tables were dirty and the room tired. All in all, a pretty rotten experience. I was asked on my way out how the meal was, and I advised the equally disinterested cashier that it was not great. Her response... nothing. We won’t bother...

This wont be your best Italian food experience or the bst pizza. But la Porchetta isn't known for that. its standard fare for semi decent price. when you need some pizza and pasta its a safe reliable bet. Outside of the owner the staff are clueless but they try their best. I wouldn't dine in but for some decent takeaway its a sure fire hit.

First visit to La Porchetta. Expectations low but hopeful. Server was pleasant enough. Food was tasteless. Steak was tender, but tasteless and poorly presented. A quality piece of meat destroyed by poor cooking.Pasta tasteless and watery. Pizza was the highlight and then only just

Seems like no proper chef in this restaurant. All of our food was absolutely tasteless no flavour and just oil. We gave an owner some constructive feedback but he got very defensive with disrespectful attitude towards us. I now understand why the restaurant was almost empty.

One thing about all La Porchetas Restaurant you never leave hungry. The good is always good and comes in a timely fashion. Staff are great to deal with.
