We had the chance to celebrate our wedding at the Restaurant la Table du donjon, located in the heart of Val d'Oingt 69620 in Beaujolais. From the start, the manager was exceptional, discussing with us the menu and the organization of our big day. The server team was incredibly professional and attentive during the reception. The cocktail was delicious, and the meal was simply exquisite. Plus, the beautiful setting added a touch of elegance to our special day. We were able to have lunch for Christmas in this establishment with a unique menu at 67€. Good efforts to offer a party menu, disappointed by the fish dish of the halibut cooked in a very classic way, we expect a finer fish in a menu at this price. However the kitchen remains fresh homemade with good products remaining in a very traditional kitchen setting. The "radio" in the room is not essential to admire the beautiful view of the room.
Excellent welcome, including for our dog, splendid view, good wine and good cuisine, with dishes that we liked more than others: the foie gras, the pigeon and the chocolate desserts were excellent. THANKS!
We were disappointed by the cuisine: the kidneys were overcooked and the vegan dish... just a greasy pasta dish. Too few vegetables. Disappointing, especially for the price.
