a few minutes by car from nice, at the entrance of the cityfranche dock, this friendly little restaurant offers 4 musical evenings per week (Thursday to Sunday) for a small participation of 10 € person. for our first night at the trinquette we had the feeling of being elsewhere with a feeling of holidays and then we loved the concert of diego origlia (guitar and voice) with its two acolytes. in total a very good evening if we love music. note that the restaurant has two outdoor terraces; one adjoining to the dining room and the other located on the edge of the water. to be complete, the kitchen is simple and without pretension.
What a great place to have a casual dinner and see a show. The owner is welcoming and helpful to English speakers, the room is very comfortable, and the food is good and reasonably priced. The musicians and singer that night (Cathy et Pierre Palvair) were fabulous. If there had been another show scheduled that we were interested in, we would have returned again during our vacation. Ce lieu a le mérite d'exister, cest le seul a être aussi accueillant, chaleureux, et musicalement excellent !
