we were able to have a table without reservation, on October 3rd! although everything was rugged, with mountain boots and migrating sounds. It was clear that it would take a little longer, apparently the entire part of the village was too gassed. but not bad. the aperitif was already a knüller, Amerbier.Although the kitchen at the beginning had forgotten the pfifferlings, these were delivered as soon as possible. the calves are as expected tender and a.d. point, all the other (fish plate and pork medallions) also very good. had to be like that, we had approx. 6 km to the baggage in the open.
the Land-Gasthof rössle in Längenbach bei gengenbach has been there for more than 200 years. Here comes the gast in the enjoyable traditional German cuisine.The food was good and the portions generously dimensioned.The service was friendly and in the rössle the chef looks past the guests in person for a short time.The local is bright and friendly but perhaps something came into the years. I think that's a good thing to eat, but not a break. the toilets in the basement were pleasantly clean.
This time we were there for a birthday dinner and, as always, were excellently served and cooked. we are at irregular intervals there to eat, usually after we have migrated the "2 valley path" (permanent hiking path of dw) (the start card and the stamp is also available in local). here you are a welcome guest, whether in walking clothes or chick. eating is always best and wishing to change in composition, is always very friendly received.
we are more often here to eat with 2 small children and I can really say all in the service are very nice and love even if our 2 small times are loud, which does not rarely occur, eating is also always very good,we can only recommend the rössle to everyone.
