We come to LaScala's whenever we come into the city to see a show. The food is consistently well made, desserts are excellent. There is never a long wait for a table or to be served. In the several years we have been dining at this establishment, we have never felt that things were less than expected. The staff are welcoming, help each other, tables are quickly bussed, and everyone makes eye contact with you if you are trying to get someone's attention. You are left feeling well treated, but not fussed or hovered over. There timing enables us to eat, have drinks refilled if needed, enjoy our coffee without being rushed or left waiting for our check. My friend and I had a good meal at a good price, and we were able to catch up on good times. There was a family behind us with a loud child. We weren't happy about it, but we were also sympathetic, so we were able to tune the child out. Let me emphasize that we did NOT complain to the restaurant. To our (pleasant) surprise, the restaurant manager came to us because our waitress advised him of the loud child. He came to us and said that, to show how much the restaurant valued us as customers, he was deducting 20 percent from our bill. We appreciated this courtesy very much, and it will surely influence us to return in the future.
My husband and I enjoyed our experience in LaScala, the food and service were great, we loved the Ricotta Board hospitality. My gnocchi was really good, was not cooked over what I usually find when I order in other restaurants. Would recommend and we will definitely be back!
our server emily was a joy! she was very friendly helpful. my chicken marsala was a banged mushroom a huge part. my man had chicken remo that he really enjoyed. this restaurant is consistently delicious!

Food was not good. The meatballs were ok, and had this whipped ricotta cheese on top. Pizza margherita was the worst we ever had. Avoid this place if you like good food.
Went here with my daughter before a concert, the food was incredible after the concert we wished we had more!!! Staff was awesome!!!
