I visited the restaurant yesterday for a birthday party, and while the food was acceptable, the drink I received was nothing like what I ordered. They served me an Old Fashioned in a wine glass, which was surprising. The restaurant was extremely crowded, and as soon as we paid the bill, the staff literally dismantled our table to make room for the dance floor. We didn't even have a chance to finish our dessert before that happened. I've never encountered such inconsiderate service before. It was a huge disappointment. I recommend saving your money and choosing a different place to enjoy your time.
Overall, a great dinner! Early Saturday evening the restaurant was just getting started so we were well attended to. Service was spot on all evening. Nice spin on traditional dishes, standouts included the octopus and short ribs! Had a minor issue on 1 entrée, no biggie, and they could not do enough for us. Instantly, yes that fast, replaced the dish, sent dessert, and after dinner cordials. Not necessary but appreciated. Recommend highly, but be advised I hear its gets crazy as the night goes on!
Lava Restaurant was a great dining experience. The devor is beautiful. The ambiance is fun and energetic. The service was timely and engaged. The food was delicious! Tuna tostadas, red snapper, halibut so tasty and really good. I will be recommending this restaurant to family and friends.
Food is excellent and very fresh. Had a wonderful brunch, everything was exquisite. The music was just a little too loud but, they did their best to accommodate us at a quiter table. Totally enjoyed it, will recommend.

The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Even though the restaurant was busy on a Friday night, we didn't have to wait long for our meals.
The food was delightful, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy. However, the DJ's music was a bit too loud for our liking.
I highly recommend this place! I love Lava; it has a fantastic atmosphere and the food is amazing.
