we went to this establishment following the very favourable opinion of this site, thinking that the only unfavourable opinion was not justified and we wanted to make our own opinion. well this restaurant is not at all at the height of positive reviews! To start with, non-smiling antipathic servers that made the impression that they didn't want to be there. Then, a very long service (three tables arrived after us and left before us while we were only 4) arrived at 8:30 p.m. out at 11:15 p.m. for the dishes, the very salty sauce and the mediocre quantities and the quality of the dish that left to be desired. €24 for a morilla chicken that didn't even feed a child. very expensive. for the chees...
two-way dinner on the terrace on 16 August: frog thighs, walnut bresse chicken, chocolate mousse, accompanied by a small white glass. a quality cuisine based on local products on a short circuit, a warm welcome, a discreet, cordial and fast service. meals on shaded terrace and fresh. The restaurant was full tonight, 3 minutes from the square where you find some rustic restaurants for tourists, it offers local cuisine that you don't find in the city center. Uncontournable in a city where the "quality" restaurant offer is rather limited.
the quality of the meat was irreproachable with an excellent gratin and their quantity. the buffet was a rich and varied one. dessert (vacherin) however seemed far from home fact. Finally, even if the French tradition demands that in general we eat a bathing pan, customers are always entitled to ask for a cooking "to-point" more appropriate to their tastes despite the warning of the chef. and not suitable for groups of 20 people where air conditioning is somewhat lacking.
Dinner of 06/08/2017,The reception is rather good smiling and active servers, the correct service duration. We took the chicken with the bites and I agree with the other comments, the chicken for me even missed cooking and, I doubt, cooked in the sauce like the real recipe. And it wasn't worth 24 euros. The gratin was pretty bad without more. In conclusion: mud, you should be able to compare with other restaurants ...

adorable personal, bresse poultry with cream and dauphinois gratin to fall backwards...and say dessert, raspberry cut, speculos and mascarporne...For us, an excellent moment and we will return there! to be noted, super reasonable price for home fact.
a good address to start a small getaway in Bourg-en-Bresse and its surroundings. super roasted chicken with potatoes, succulent lamb ribs. fast and courteous service and really hearty dishes. coffee is also good
