Le Caveau De Verdun

We stopped in this town while chartering a boat and cruising around the area. It appeared no restaurants were open in the town but we decided to swing by Le Caveau, just in case. Luckily we found Robert (the owner? was there in the front desk and were informed they were indeed open and made a reservation. We were a family of 6 and they had no problem accommodating us. We say down around 7:30pm and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The food was fantastic, one of the best meals we had the whole trip. Robert was a gracious host and the all-around service was excellent. We will make a point of returning our next trip to France!

I went there for the pôchouse first. this time I took the menu at 29€ and was not disappointed. Sardine terrine having the taste of sardinets very good **** to the farmer wine that has cooked the time it takes to be rather tender without being dry. the serving is a very beautiful thigh accompanied by fries and various vegetables. Home fries you die!not two of the same shape or size. very good dessert also. wine from month to glass very correct. I'll go back to the sandals net.

no change since the last visit, quality products, reception even solo and with animal. for once alone for a dinner that allows to exchange with the management on my previous opinion. the arguments of the convincing boss and frogs without excellent support. this small glass of yellow wine from behind a great happiness to enjoy with dried fruits would be one more for the discovery of a Jura speciality out of competition. wonderful family and traditional restaurant. super casual and friendly atmosphere. high quality food at constant prices. possibility to buy wines from Burgundy at fair prices. the team and especially the boss are of a remarkable hospitality.

Very good time sharing very good cuisine served with a smile and cheerfulness. A good dialogue with the chef at the end of the meal. Possibility of purchasing wines and spirits after consultation with the chef. To renew without problem.

Belle découverte. Cuisine généreuse et familiale à l'inverse de la cuisine nouvelle. Décor année 70 dans son jus...amusant.
