We dropped in here several times on our way back from the Bakery. Cakes are very expensive on the Cote, thankfully we do not eat them! Virtually the same people were in here every afternoon, with the occasional visitors (we were out of season, so you would not expect the place to be teeming! . There were always people eating inside if we arrived before the kitchen closed for lunch. There is nothing special about this place, but if you enjoy people watching, and relaxing, it is an enjoyable experience, even though it is situated on the main road.
My husband and I stayed across from here in an apartment and didn't.t want to walk down to the waterfront so thought we would give this a try. At first glance it didn't,t look so great inside but. Ice tables outside. We ordered a pizza and ceasare salad to share. The pizza was huge and salad presented perfectly with fresh shavings of Parmesan. Just want we wanted as had been out all day. Could not have been better. The chef was very nice and gave us a liqueur with coffee. Would defi Italy recommend for a quick Inexpensive meal.
It's a cafe with an Italian slope, opposite the tourism office. The kitchen is Italian. First time we had lunch, we took the carbonar and the salad. Porcium is big, delicious, cooked at home. The second time we had breakfast, the standard French-- coffee-- the croissant, the coffee is good, the cruissian master went to the bakery across the street. Prices are average, in principle, cheaper than the sea.
Wonderful atmosphere in an atmospheric local restaurant. Lovely friendly and efficient waitress who went that extra mile by giving us many choices to suit our needs that were not on the menu. Really tasty food which resulted in our return for another lunch on our day of departure. Look forward to returning there sometime soon!

Le Lounge Restaurant Pizzeria, right in the centre of town lots of seating and great variety of meals. Had a meal of very fresh topping's and tasty Pizza's and drinks - 29 Euro, good value with prompt, friendly service. Very handy to the Bus stop right in the central township of Villefranche.
the staff is friendly, the service is a little slow but they are forgiven: it takes time to prepare very good pasta with seafood. I had a treat, the portion was very copyy and delicious, I didn't eat anything else! The wine was also very good!I recommend this restaurant.
The exterior is fairly ordinary but the food was really good the carbonara homemade and the pizza totally fresh and prepared to order. The waitress was charming and helpful. This place is a real find in Villefranche. Handy for the bus stop too!
I'm going to lunch regularly when I'm passing through the city and I'm never disappointed. It's simple but always very good, prices are more than reasonable and the waitress is nice and effective. that the people ask!

Unfortunately, my experience of Le Lounge included very poor service from an exceptionally rude waitress. I will certainly not be going back.
Became our morningplace with the locals. A cafe creme and croaissant every mornong with exellent service ☺
