I'd like to put 3.5... We did not understand the so-called ambient comments of this restaurant... Some dishes were very good, such as octopus or truffle egg. The dessert was great! A real know-how on these dishes and quality products. There are, however, dishes that I would judge almost mediocre, such as goat cheese, a little goat cheese sprinkled with sunflower seeds and pink pepper with simple green salad and vinaigrette. I can have that same dish in my work canteen... The tomato-peche-burrata was also not completely crazy. It was good yes, but really nothing special and especially something that everyone can do... Food was okay but not special. There's a lot more possibilities in Avignon to eat nicer and better than here. Control was very bad! Totally not service-riched, as if we did them a favor to eat there. Math was over $100 for two people, and it certainly wasn't worth it! The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and we asked the waitress if we could take two more people's tables, but this wasn't possible. The rest of the night, we left at 10:00 p.m., no other guests came to the tables we'd designed as alternatives. Also, the tattooed waitress didn't speak a word. English, really weird for a tourist place like Avignon and a so-called five star hotel like Le Mirande!
The service and staff were very pleasant during our meal at the restaurant of La Mirande Garage. We were pleasantly surprised when we enjoyed our entrance but disappointed with the dish. We thought we were comforting on desserts but that was not the case. Rum pineapple dessert was of simplicity and chocolate tile with tasteless figs. We expected a dinner at the height of our entrance but that was not the case. We enjoyed the tapenade offered on our arrival.
We booked the restaurant le Mirage which really offers a quality meal for a reasonable price: 8€ admissions and desserts and 22€ dishes. The service is friendly, listening and fast. The products are local and of quality. Atypical frame in the middle of the stone vaults, and surrounded by works of an American artist who add charm to this place.

I think the Mirage extension has nothing to envy to its parent establishment (and decorated with a Michelin star)... Everything was perfect! From the frame, to the served tapas (all more succulent to each other) and to the incredible intimate setting. Get your eyes closed!
My need for time lunch has been wonderfully satisfied with the Mirande Cantine thanks to the delicious dishes offering an explosion of flavors in the mouth and as efficient as welcoming staff. Thank you for this express culinary experience!
Decor really very pretty! Very nice and friendly concept, with all these tapas, very good, just service not very pro. I think the waitress is new. Otherwise everything was perfect!
