Evening at the restaurant then night at the hotel with breakfast The restaurant is very good but not as exceptional as it was expected for a star, especially since there were some faults of service and cooking... The hotel is very pleasant and the superb room but the price for a night is clearly excessive. As for breakfast in a starred restaurant... Very disappointing: truite barely presented, not prepared, orange juice in bottle ... A first to have a breakfast in a hotel of this type without pressing an orange. The setting and the terrace catch up with this breakfast clearly not at the height of the place. In summary it was a first, it was nice but no more!
If I had a slight doubt at the start of not knowing what the meal was going to be, we ask you just at the finish if there are foods that we don't like and that's all, the surprise menu of dishes was absolutely delicious from beginning to end with mixtures of flavors and textures in the mouth. The pleasure of lunch along the river in a bucolic setting reinforces the pleasure of the table. Excellent service (I did not understand some reservations of other reviews). Really a place to come to discover the chef's personal cuisine.
very good reception, impeccable service, waitresses, servers and sommelier very friendly. very pleasant setting, the terrace on the water is well shaded. The cuisine is excellent, the mix of South-West flavours with mexico, the country of origin of the chef, is perfect. He went to our table and we were able to talk to him. a big thank you to all the staff for this great time we spent thanks to all of you.
We had the chance to have very beautiful rooms, with views of the Dronne and one of them directly on the abbey. The table service was of quality for dinner and breakfast. A luxury to (to offer so much passage in the city.
