I frequently order from this restaurant through Uber Eats, and I must say, it's fantastic. I've tried several African restaurants, but this one, along with Mina's Kitchen, is the only place where the food tastes like it was made for a Liberian rather than a Nigerian or Ghanaian. Additionally, they are more centrally located and have more consistent hours than Mina's. Food rating: 5/5.
My sister and nephews visited here a few weeks ago and told me how much they enjoyed it, so I decided I would give them a try. I drove from McDonough to give them a try on a busy Saturday (late afternoon). The customer service was good, the jolliup rice was delicious and that spicy sauce. gave me LIFE!! Hands down some of the best African food I’ve ever had- being an African myself. The Senegalese rice was moist and full of flavor. Don’t let me get started on the grilled chicken.. I discovered this restaurant a few months ago, and the food was amazing. I returned a week or two later, and the woman who took my order remembered me and what I had ordered. She even asked if I enjoyed it. It may seem like a small gesture, but it truly means a lot.
My husband really enjoys this restaurant. The food is excellent, but it can be a bit expensive, and the portion sizes are small relative to the prices. I only rated it 4 stars because I feel the amount of food doesn't justify the cost.
I wanted my boyfriend to experience some African cuisine, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. He really enjoyed the food, and our server was delightful.
