Le Refuge Payot - Reservar una mesa

before the cable car ascent to the aigle du midi we considered to have some meal in the nice centre of Chamonix and saw this traditional and very well set of Refuge Payot, we were a little cofused because while the fast food joints were fully of people, this wonderful place with reasonable prices has free places . . . we considered ordering a table of typical regional products, and we could not believe the quantity and quality we had (including bottle of wine) for only 39 F. But not only food and drink was delicious, but the treatment of Frank, the kind and courteous waiter was truly unforgettable. Our congratulations.

Not eveything is from the Haute Savoie. I went in a couple of times, and actually the workers were either talking to each other and ignoring me, or screaming at each other and ignoring me. The pates and jams are overpriced as well as the the sausages, wines and cheeses. The the options are very good selection but nothing really local local as I was expecting. Go If you want to pay double.

We happened upon the shop this afternoon after arriving in Chamonix. The folks working here were friendly and provided amazing service. Terrific wine and charcuterie platter. Good value. Terrific views from the table outside.

good quality local products and very nice service! we went there 4 times to get our ham's and wine ; Also the grilled chicken was delish!

You can find anything you will like to try typical from the region...quality is the best! We bought everything we could! lol Never enough
