Le Shack Du Pêcheur La Prairie

A friend of mine recommended that we try out this place and so finally we got a chance to go there for lunch. The place has a small bar and a few seating sections and is appropriately decorated. We decided to share an order of 1/2 lb of sauteed shrimp with cajun seasoning as well as a full plate of cod fish and chips along with a pitcher of draft beer. The food was great, the service attentive and the prices reasonable. We look forward to a return visit to try out their daily specials as well as some other items on the menu. This might possibly take more than one return visit.....

I can't believe it! The regular lobster, Uncle Ben's rice, and frozen garlic margarine cost $38—much cheaper at Lucile's and far better in every way! My husband ordered a steak that was overcooked and gray when he asked for it to be rare. They took it back and replaced the meat. I had visited several years ago, but unfortunately, I won't be returning or recommending this place!

Food and service were more than excellent but the hostess give you 2hours to eat and get out when you arrive. We were 4 and we spend a little over 500$. Can we at least finish our glass of wine?Time to eat is to short and pressure to get out is a little to much. This is enough to make a good meal go bad.

Absolutely fantastic! The decor and atmosphere transport you straight to the East Coast. The lobster mac and cheese is simply exceptional. The guys really loved their fish and chips, too. This restaurant is small in size but big on what counts. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent service and generous portions. Some in our goup had London fish and chips and some had the lobster roll. Both were delicious along with their scrumptious french fries. We will go back again.

The Assiette du Pêcheur is absolutely worth it! It was deee...licious! I definitely got more value for my money. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was great! Be sure to make your reservation and head over!

I am not fan of seafood usually, but this place cooks food in a way that is so dreamy and delicious. One of the best restaurants i know and totally recommend to others

Very good food, service and atmosphere!!!!! Kids really loved it! Fish tasted fresh and loving the Coke bottles!
