Quirky middle eastern cafe with limited menu and very uncomfortable seating. Not sure who handled the seating but a side table is not meant to be used as a dining table. My party of 4 was seated at double tables which were really sofa side table not true cafe tables. There was no place to put your feet and the tables were not the right height so it was very awkward to sit and eat comfortably. One of my friends wanted a standard chicken kebab but they ran out which is very odd as it was a Friday night so you’d think the restaurant would have stocked up on chicken for the weekend! Another guest wanted a falafel sandwich and were told they can’t have it as they only serve it for lunch even thou...
I will never stop coming here. The food is absolutely amazing, it is delicious, well prepared, made with love, and you taste that in every bite. Came with my friend, we tried several of the appetizers, the chicken kebab, and chicken fatteh. I wish we could have eaten more, the portions are perfect, I just wish I could have eaten more. The owners and staff are so sweet, attentive, and funny. The decor is beautiful and when you walk in the aroma of food pushes you into a seat and locks you there until your food comes.
The food was delicious! We ordered the mezza special and chose baba ganoush, stuffed grape leaves, kebeh, and falafel. They were all really good! We also had the pomegranate chicken and it was really tasty. The service was great as well and so was the ambiance. I also spoke to the owner once when I went in on another occasion and she was super nice and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Wonderful decor, soothing music, delicious flavors of homemade and great quality food.The women working there was super sweet and answered any questions me and my lover had. Fast service and efficient business.This makes me want to try out more Middle Eastern restaurants. Vegan and vegetarian options here. I loved this place and would love to come back here.

This place is AWESOME! Decoration and vibes are great! Food is creative and delicious. It?s not your traditional Middle Eastern place. They do Middle Eastern with a modern twist and it works great. Waitress was nice, knowledgeable and very attentive! Definitely I?ll be coming back.
Wonderful carefully prepared food, beautiful presentation (and reasonable prices! Atmosphere was lovely and quiet. The owner came to ask how our food was. We will be back soon (shhhh, please don’t share this well kept secret!
Great food including some of the best hummus I have ever had in my life--really. And each time we go the service is excellent. Le Souk is quickly becoming one of my family's go-to Montclair restaurants.
Homey, friendly, and delicious. You feel like a relative is cooking you a fresh, flavorful meal and serving it to you at their own home. Like being in the Middle East!

Fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere inside and outdoor seating. The menu is quite intriguing. It could use some heating for the outdoor area, though.
Beautiful and unique restaurant, dinner was absolutely delicious and staff friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return!
