We have just returned from Top Grill. It is a lovely restaurant, we experienced quick service and the food was delicious. It's off the beaten track and the name and neon light sign don't really match the style of food/restaurant. Only reason not to give '5' was that we would have liked slightly more food choice. We had thought as it's called 'Top Grill' there would have been more 'meat' dishes on offer. We dined here on the second night of a two week holiday in Corsica and this thankfully set the bar pretty low for anything following this.The food was of a low standard. My steak which was ordered as medium rare was cooked to a cinder and my wife's prawns and pasta was very insuffisticated and the pasta overcooked.Our children ate pizzas which were OK , but in all honesty so they should be.We had two local beers each and to my horror the bill came to €130 !!!!The service was indifferent.I should say that everywhere else we have eaten since then in Corsica has been better and more reasonably priced. The restaurant is situated in Lecci 10 min by car from upscale Porto-Vecchio, were restaurants tend to be overrated -and I don't mean only at TripAdvisor but overall price/quality ratio.The prosciutto pasta was delicious but chicken pasta lacked seasoning at tasted like pre-cooked meal. The restaurant is renowned for its desserts -we can recommend the chocolate (mud) cake and local dessert with strawberries.The athmosphere was relaxed and most of the clientele were local (or at least spoke French). Staff was really professional throughout the evening.
I have now eaten 3 times at this restaurant. There isn't much else around. The food is good, pizzas extremely good! Beautiful restaurant, very large with the inside rarely being used.Hence what let's it down is its management. Too few staff to deal with many customers means your left for too long. Very quick to seat and water you but could be some time before you order. Food is generally quick but it's the other bits in between. Have always got up to pay as waiting at the table can be painstakingly long. Would recommend however don't be in a rush.

If you come across this place on the road from Lecci to Porto-Vecchio stop off as it will be worth it. It was my birthday and the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed on the Monday so we drive towards PV and found the place.We had a Fillet Steak which although was not the biggest steak I have had was cooked very well. The starters were also v good, the E-Prove red wine is recommended.A bit expensive but it is only your birthday once a year
Based on the TripAdvisor reviews and the positive fact that somebody answered the telephone - this seems not logical around here - we made a reservation and tried this place on Saturday 18 July.The message is simple: nice place, nice people, good food. We tried the carpaccio and ceasar salads as starters, had meat dishes and pastas as main course and the desserts were also very good. All in all we had a great evening!
A pleasant surprise - we had just arrived and needed a quick dinner. Suggested by our landlord, the wood fired pizza was great, risotto and pasta excellent.Lovely service, fine wines (Corsican rose of course!)
Great food, tiramisu was very good. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Italian food. A bit hard to miss as it is tucked away on the side of the road but worth searching for.

Whilst the food was of decent standard we felt the service was rushed and sloppy. Desserts were the most expensive we experienced on the Island.
