Stopped in this afternoon to have a late lunch and I opted for the two half entree meal with fried rice. I chose sesame chicken and firecracker shrimp. As usual the rice was good and the entrees were both hot and tasted great. Two things that I enjoy about Leeann Chin is that I know what to expect and I am rarely, if ever, disappointed as their food quality seems to be consistent. The second thing I enjoy is there hot mustard which is so spicy that it clears your sinuses. When it comes to quick serve Chinese I truly believe that Leeann Chin is better than both Panda Express and Hy Vee and I'm not comparing it with places such as Rainbow or PF Chang's.
We pulled up and waited for three minutes before being told ?I?ll be with you in a minute.? The place was completely dead, no cars parked and we were the only ones in line. Five plus minutes later we finally get to order and after our order we asked if we could do a separate order. The guy taking our order goes ?ah?well?it?s dinner rush.? Meanwhile we had been sitting out here with NO ONE in sight. One person pulls up behind us as he explains that since someone is behind us he can?t take our order. This just seemed lazy as every time we?ve ordered here we?ve been able to do separate orders, even while in a Real rush. He was generally cold too. Sad.
They have some serious cleaning issues here. The soda fountain ice shoot is completely moldy, the nozzles also are covered in mold for the fountain along with there drip tray. I used to work in the food industry and these things should be cleaned daily. I did notify the staff of the mold and they didn't address it at all, just said thanks for letting us know and they didn't go clean it. When they put out new food, they do not cycle out the product, just keep dumping new product on top of the old stuff, so if you ever see stuff that is low, I'd wait, probably has been there fore hours. I would never go back to this location.
Generally very good. I enjoyed my food selections. My only negative comment is how pressured I felt to move thru the line quickly even there was no one behind me. The server seem frustrated with me that I wasn't making my selections quickly enough even though I was done in less than a minute. It made me feel somewhat unappreciated as a customer like the server had more important things to do than wait on a senior citizen. I love the food here! The Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken are my Go-to Entrees here and they prepare it so well! The Asian noodles are also a classic and very savory. Staff are friendly and helpful with their recommendations and personal favorites, and their favorites have also become some of me! Great job guys!
Wash your hands after touching your filthy cellphone. I tossed my food just to not make a scene. I will be calling for a refund and I hope I don't get the rude manager that talks like a tough guy to the customers picking up food orders. No more Chinese food from this place. Other places that offer better service
I haven?t been to this Leeann Chin since it opened wayy back when. I was craving Chinese food and fast. I was so happy I stopped. It was fantastic? the staff was quick and friendly and the food was freshly prepared. I will absolutely be back to this restaurant. Keep it up guys!
