Right on the small lake Staz with a lovely terrace, 15-20 mins walk from Lake St. Moritz (the side of the train station) or about 40-45 mins from Pontresina. We had coffee and nice cake (tarte-like blueberry or apricot on the day), therefore can´t comment on the food. Specials of the day were marked on a board, e.g. tagliatelle with pan-fried salmon, soups, salads. Friendly and attentive service. Prices high as everywhere in the region, i.e, CHF 45.50 for two coffees, one cappuccino, one Ovomaltine and four slices of cake. There´s a deck leading into the lake for swimming and a stall selling BBQ to-go (wasn´t open yet on our visit). There´s also a small open air stage where it seems they hold fairy tale readings for kids. They also offer Sunday brunch and after work drinks events, worth checking their website. Makes a great stop on a lovely walk or bike ride.
Come ogni anno andiamo con i nostri amici a fare una passeggiata in questo posto meraviglioso! Quest'anno la delusione è stata grandissima xche, nonostante il posto resti sempre un incanto, il ristorante è stato un disastro. Attese eterne, personale molto poco cortese, qualità non all'altezza delle aspettative.Che peccato!
It's in one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, even on a rainy day the walk to get there is sensational and the lake and mountains view when you get there is the best reward.I had a simple meal, their famous sausage with a side of french fries, and it was absolutely perfect.I can't wait to go back.
Vado con i mei amici al ristorante sul lei da staz ormai ogni anno da diversi anni; questa volta siamo rimasti molto delusi dal personale lento, lentissimo (45' per il solo caffè) e dal menù che non riflette la varietà e la qualità di un tempo. Spero in un futuro migliore
