We choose 2 leffe pressure at 4€ in aperitif(, the homemade tapnade is its crusts have been offered). After consulting the menu, we choose 2 menus at 20 €, (the choice is between fried mussels, à la carte dishes and a menu at 25 €). In the entrance a salad of gizzards, deglazed with raspberry vinegar, and its homemade crusts.In flat, a canard and lamb chops for Madame, with apples to the sarladaise and its pieces of ceps, accompanied by a quarter of red wine shepherdac at 4 €. We have been coming to Brantome for several (4+ years and I can honestly say this was the worst meal we have ever had. It’s our own fault as we had plenty of time to change our minds but we decided to sit out the wait for an hr for our drinks to arrive! But that wasn’t enough of a clue for us oh no we decided to wait for the food. Finesse isn’t a word I would use to describe how the food is presented. The service was like being in a sketch of Acorn Antiques with Victoria Wood and the hilarious waitress played by Julie Walters. We will remember this lunch for the rest of our lives obviously for all the wrong reasons! I would strongly recommend you eat somewhere else if you like good food.
A chance to get back to Brantome after a few years away from the region meant another trip to this delightful little restaurant which just doesn't change (first came here 10 years ago! . Still great value, brilliant food, decent wine and friendly, attentive and welcoming service. Amazing Moules that never seemed to end served with gorgeous frites always a winner for us!!!
We dinered twice in 4 days in this restaurant held by 2 very friendly women. It's true that the service can be a little long, but it's worth it, especially the cep omelettes, it's a treat. The staff is listening and available.

Charming, simple and yet it was much more than noon.Best menus Provencal omelette with salad and delicious and hearty fries and a cake with miam nuts!! miam!very good value for money.
No need to consult the menu c the chef who decides what you will eat and when. On the other hand a good service that does everything to relieve incompetence in the kitchen.
reception and service not professional enough. too much waiting for the bad organisation of the service. very good quality of the dishes offered.
Ambiance between very medium and especially very fat girls and the price remains rather high for 22€ the menu.
