Stopped here for lunch on beautiful sunny skiing day. We decided to wait for table outside so stood in line for 1 hour, this is mostly out of their control except clearing tables could have been quicker as they did not have enough staff. We...finally sat down but then we were politely asked if we could move table so we did. The overstretched waitress then proceeded to serve the customers who took our table (who had only been waiting a short while). When we asked for service the waitress was very rude and told us this was not a snack bar and no apology. A great place for lunch during our ski day in Balme. The service was great because it was very busy and the food came quickly. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent. 5/5
One of the last stops in my anti-clockwise loop, good sleeping arrangement, best dinner and breakfast on my trip, friendly staff and hot clean showers. Would highly recommend.

We were here in July 2022 when hiking the TMB and it was a great experience. Clean, excellent food and quiet hut. Very recommended!
