We had a great experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent and we enjoyed most of our dishes. The amuse bouche they served was delicious but too spicy for some of us, as were the flautas. The camarones were tasty, but the grilled bread they were served on was soggy from the sauce, which was unexpected. Our drinks were great and we loved the outdoor terrace. We'll definitely be returning, but next time we'll be sure to ask about seasonings before ordering. Convenient free parking is available across the street.
We are big fans of Libertad and had a fantastic evening dining there during a perfect summer night. We indulged in their retro specials, including chipotle hummus and fried poblano pepper, which were delicious. The quality of their food is excellent, fresh, and well worth the price. The service was outstanding, with helpful suggestions on what to try and attentive about keeping our glasses full. We already can't wait to return with a larger group to sample more of their dishes!
Ambience was great. Everything we ordered was great for our 7 person table. We loved the complimentary soup. The lomo saltado and octopus were delicious! We did not care for the pork chop. It was dry/overcooked and way too sweet. The desserts they brought out for our two birthdays guests were also great! We will definitely come back again.
Fantastic food in big portions. They started us off with a small soup cup to start and the food continued to impress. The shrimp and the chicken were amazing. For three of us we ordered four items and left with leftovers. A great find in Skokie.

So glad this place is still thriving bc it continues to be my favorite go-to place to dine. Our favorite dishes were the pan roasted shrimp, the pulpo octopus, and shishito peppers
