OMG loved the entire breakfast experience at the Little RED Kitchen. We had shrimp and grits, and also a biscuit with gravy. Delicious! We 've eaten a lot of shrimp and grits in our day, and these might be the best we 've had in our lives. The grits tasted clean and all of the ingredients, from the crunchy shrimp, celery, green onions and bacon really popped. The owner says she makes everything with her grandma 's recipes as her guide. We 'd come back through the area just to eat at the Little RED Kitchen!

I 'm from North Dakota my parents are snowbirds..I 've been visiting for few wks passed by the 'LRK '? many times, so eager to try! I finally had the chance. So tasty! We are currently staying at Martin Dies Jr. State Park and chose to eat at this restaurant because we wanted to bring our dog along and were able to sit outside. Additionally, it had received five-star reviews, and it certainly lived up to the hype. We ordered hamburgers and fries, and they were delicious! We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Chuck Harvard, who is running for sheriff of Jasper County. He was very kind to us. Thank you again!
This charming little spot is perfect for breakfast, but the menu offers much more than just breakfast options. The pancakes are incredibly fluffy and delicious—definitely the best I've ever had! My husband tried the western omelet and really enjoyed it. The cook and owner are wonderful; it felt like visiting a friend's house.

Cold, wet Friday night, we arrived late at Martin Dies state park. We decided to try this place we were glad we did! It was a little hard to find, but the food was so worth it! Our grilled shrimp fries were served with grilled onions. Everything was fresh well prepared!
If you haven't visited this place yet, you absolutely should! The food is fresh, served hot, and incredibly tasty, plus the service is outstanding! We will definitely return!

Easy to find. The reviews' feedback is correct. Fryed fish cooked perfectly, and the grilled shrimp was flavourful.
