I love places like this. Great beer, great food, even better bartenders. Not enough compliments for them. Friendly and very attentive. I will definitely return. Food: The pretzel twists fantastic and the mustard was exactly what I hoped for. Maple Buffalo fried chicken sandwich I was expecting a very maple forward sauce but was pleasantly surprised that it was really well balanced. Buffalo forward with a hint of sweetness from the maple. Get it with onions (I meant to but forgot, it would really be Caprese sandwich crispy bread with fresh mozz, basil, and tomato. Can't beat that. Side of garlic Parm fries. Those fries plus the truffle ketchup!

It was our first time here and there was a one hour waiting. As soon as we were seated, our server got us water and menus. We started off with some French fries, chicken wings, cheese nachos and coconut shrimp.The garlic dip served with the fries was fab. For the mains, we got chicken pesto, shrimp tacos, chipotle chicken sandwich, chicken tacos and clam chowder. All the dishes were delicious. The flavors were very fresh and the portion sizes were good. We finished off with their Belgian chocolate mousse cake which stole the show. Must try. Our server was very efficient and friendly. Visited Freehouse Taproom for lunch during the foliage season. We were seated immediately....the dining area was more than 3/4 full. Our waitress came over within minutes and reviewed the menu and specials for the day. Both drinks and food came in a timely manner. We ordered mainly appetizers which were hot and delicious. This was our 2nd visit to the Taproom and once again....did not disappoint us ....we will return. Food: 4
