This L&L location is small, but they do have a few tables for dining in. At first glance, it seems like a takeout only spot, but you'll notice the seating once you step inside. They also have a private parking lot, which is definitely a plus in my opinion. Additionally, they have a restroom available, another nice feature!

This Castro Valley location has several positives: the service is quick, the prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. The flavors are bold and delicious, particularly the BBQ beef, which my husband really enjoyed. Additionally, the atmosphere is relatively quiet. However, there are some downsides, including my garlic shrimp being a bit too salty for my taste, the staff could be friendlier, and the decor and lighting could use an upgrade to create a more inviting environment for guests to relax and chat.
Overall, there’s definitely room for improvement at this restaurant.
I have been a regular at this restaurant for years, and the food has consistently been outstanding. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor and were very bland. The macaroni salad tasted stale, so I ended up having to throw it away. Normally, I spend over $60 here and have never felt regret about it—until today.
Wow. I think this is a family-run restaurant, but the girl who took our order was incredibly condescending. She was on the phone with one hand and scrolling through her screen the whole time. I completely forgot that Ono was just down the block. I won't be returning here again.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted! The service was quick and friendly, and our server was quite charming. The Hawaiian-style food was delicious and wholesome. There's a great variety of meals and combo options to choose from.
The seafood platter was quite disappointing. There was an excessive amount of breading on the fish, scallops, and shrimp, and they didn't taste fresh at all. I'm also having stomach and bowel problems today.
While their location is intriguing, I question whether they draw in a lot of customers. During my visit, I barely noticed anyone else there. Additionally, I wasn't particularly impressed with the food.
