L'Olympia - Reservar una mesa

We've enjoyed lunch at this restaurant twice this week. It is obviously and justifiably popular with the locals. The terrace on the corner of the square buzzes with patrons and the staff swiftly attend to their wishes. The food on offer is fresh and plentiful: our salads were ample servings. There is plenty of choice. Whilst we were eating lunch some customers arrived asking if they may order coffee only. Pas de problème, they were told. So friendly!

It was Monday after the school vacations, everything was closed in the island, but finally we found the Olympia opened and we got a good meal. Service was friendly and prompt, we ordered the daily suggestion of a trio of fish and it was fresh and very well prepared with a nice sauce. We were happy to find it! It looks as it is a local hangout as many locals were there just playing cards or the junkbox. Nice terrace for the sunny days!

Great value for money! Large plates of very tasty food. We had grilled Sardines with frites and salad and a seafood salad with Gambas and smoked salmon both excellent. Carafe of Rose and desserts. Bill 45 euros.

Very long wait half the menu was not on Only one type of wine available No knowledge of what is on the menu Food below average One over worked staff while the landlord is chatting away inside with locals
