L'orangerie - Reserva de mesa

We didn’t have time for a sit down lunch at the restaurant as we were only doing a day visit to the Loire Valley. However we were hungry after our visit to Chateau Chenonceau and decided to takeaway some fish and chips and salad. Even for takeaway, the food was fabulous and we had a good time digging into our lunch inside the car as we headed to our next chateau to visit. If you do have the time, this is definitely a good place to stop for lunch.

Havre de paix au milieux des jardins, c est vraiment agréable de déjeuner dans cet endroit si élégant. Acceuil professionnel et souriant. Malgré un manque de personnel nous avons été très bien reçu. Pris le brunch merci les commentaires des autres internautes Plateau copieux, avec petit beurre demi sel pour la charcuterie, confiture cerise pour le fromage. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Lovely restaurant on the grounds of Château de Chenonceau. Upon entering the restaurant, you leave the mass tourism of the château behind and step into a beautiful restaurant. We had a three course menu, a glass of wine and a coffee. Prices are a bit higher than similar restaurants in the region, but this is to be expected from a restaurant within the ticketed area of a museum.

What a perfect place to eat lunch after a morning spent immersing ourselves in the history of this glorious château. Chenonceaux will take your breath away and a little of its stardust can be yours if you reserve a table at L’Orangerie. We enjoyed a delicious meal served by delightful staff.... highly recommended! Très bel endroit pour une pause déjeuner après la visite du château. Service soigné, cadre très agréable, les plats sont simples mais très bon. En dessert nous avons pris la crème brûlée verveine citron : un régal

What a beautiful place and setting. The price fixe was outstanding. Beautifully presented. We particularly enjoyed the cheese selection and the desert. The place to eat while at Chenonceaux.

Had lunch on Sunday. Food was great. Unique pairings. Great menu. Good wine selection. Great service. Reasonably priced for location at the Chateau de Chenonceaux
