We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! My wife and I visited for dinner, and we were truly impressed by the delicious food and the welcoming service. She ordered a chicken tostada and an al Pastor taco, both of which were excellently prepared and served in generous portions—especially the tostada, which was loaded with meat. I chose the chicken enchiladas, and the size of the portions definitely made the meal worth the price. It was my first time dining at this restaurant, and since I don’t speak Spanish and don’t know much about the ingredients, I felt a bit nervous, especially since I prefer milder dishes. However, the waitress was extremely respectful and took the time to explain the menu and the different dishes to me. At that moment, I was the only non-Hispanic customer there, but I felt truly welcomed due to the attentive service. This made the reasonable prices feel even more worthwhile. I highly recommend visiting and experiencing it for yourself—you might be able to write a review for Los Comales Aurora that does it even more justice than I can.
My family and I dined at this restaurant on Easter Sunday. We used to live in Aurora, but relocated about 50 minutes away two years ago. Despite the distance, this place remains one of our top choices for Mexican food. The service and the food were exceptional! Our meals arrived much quicker than we anticipated, and our server flawlessly remembered all our orders, including some special requests from my parents. The prices were quite reasonable too. Unfortunately, I didn't catch our server's name, but she wore large glasses and certainly deserved the tip we left her! We all left feeling very satisfied and full.
We were disappointed with the food quality. The tongue tacos were dry and lacked seasoning, and even adding salt didn’t improve the flavor. The burritos were overloaded with sour cream and seemed to have little to no steak—if it was steak at all, it might have been ground beef. The specials came with rice and beans, but the rice tasted like leftover from the day before. The only positive was the chips; however, the salsa was warm and lacked salt. On the bright side, I do recommend the horchata—it was very good.

The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. The food was tasty and affordable! We tried the 20-taco platter, and each taco was excellent and beautifully arranged. The platter came with four drinks and grilled onions in the middle. It’s a clean, family-friendly restaurant.
The worst tacos I’ve ever had. I ordered a tongue taco, and it was old and dry. They had been sitting in a warmer, causing the paper to stick to the hardened tortilla. Absolutely the worst experience. I would give them negative stars if I could.
The service was incredibly fast, and the food came out almost immediately! The tacos were tasty. The only drawback is that they are a bit pricey—$3 for a small taco.
