This place is great, their burritos are delicious, some of the best I've ever tasted. Their salsa is delicious as well, and I hate salsa. It's not very spicy, just has a great flavor. They're also one of the only Burrito spots that actually seasons their rice, I honestly can't believe more restaurants don't do this. Besides all that though, their prices are comparable to everywhere else that sells burritos. But more than anything else, their service is impeccable and they're very friendly. Would definitely recommend anyone to go there.
Found this place through other's reviews. I got the super carne asada burrito. Steak was cooked on the spot and not just sitting around like some other places where it can get dry and tough to chew. Overall blended well with other ingredients. Friendly customer service and standard pricing for the area. Only drawback is parking is very limited. Fortunately I was with someone and they dropped me off as they waited a few steps at the 76 gas station. Will be coming back when I'm in the area.
First time here. Ordered three tacos: asada (steak), carnitas, and lengua (tongue). Being Mexican, I specifically choose these three meats to rate how good a place is. This place did not disappoint. Super meaty and flavorful. I had to use a fork to eat the meat that fell out on each bite. Good cilantro:onion ratio which is really important. Why not 5 stars? Their spiciest sauce was not so spicy, I was expecting more. Will definitely be back though!
Great little place in the middle of everywhere, but, take the time to go there 'll see that the food is real mexican (a delightful treat at it, and the accommodation is just like south of the border when you get my drift. But by the way, this place has all the right things and the service is good. Sit a little down, but get out is fine. Yummy #MexicanFood though! It was amazing!!! ???????????? portion was really good, salsa and chips amazing!!! Staff was friendly?clean place,fast service and menu was very easy to read and understand. It?s a must try in Daly City! I will definitely be back if I?m inDaly City! Must visit!!

Wow, what a nice surprise and a great find! Fried chicken sold out next store and this has good reviews so decided to eat here instead. My mom and I both had the lunch plates, asada and carnitas. Generous portions, including guacamole, salad, etc., and rice was soo delicious. Both meats were great. I would definitely come back here to try more of their other dishes.
Los Metates is my favorite spot for burritos in Daly City. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and fairly priced. The interior may be simple, but that’s not what matters!

We visit Los Metates every week and it never fails to impress! We always order six carne asada tacos, and they generously load them with meat.
A hidden gem, but the tacos are fantastic! I only wish we had a place like this on the East Coast!
