While on our way to Nashville, we stopped in the area for gas and decided to see if there were any decent dining options nearby. We chose this place based on solid Yelp reviews, but it turned out to be a mistake. Nothing was homemade; the salsa tasted like it was straight from the store—think Tostitos, but even worse. My sister ended up choking on a pepper stem, which was unfortunate.
To make matters worse, my water was served in a cracked cup, and we didn’t realize it was leaking until a quarter of the table was covered in water. We had to clean up the mess ourselves. The water had a strange taste, too. The food arrived far too quickly, which is a clear sign that it was all pre-processed....
We have tried several Mexican restaurants in the Dalton, Ga area and Los Pablos is by far my favorite. The Chile Poblano Relleno is cooked to perfection, light batter fried golden, oozing with mild gooey cheese and soused with a slightly zingy red sauce. This item is a must have! Sancho's Tacos is my favorite entree...a combo of steak, shrimp and chicken served up spicy with the perfect amount of fresh chopped jalapenos... Beans rice are basic sides with a few flour tortillas, lettuce, pico de Gallo, guacamole and sour cream to top it. The atmosphere isn't grande, the place is actually quite small...but the food is solid and the service is upbeat, friendly and attentive. The waiter actually...
The food is excellent! The service was impressive even during the busy lunch rush. Everything was served hot and exactly as requested. The waitstaff checked on us regularly. The nachos were delivered at the perfect temperature. The service was quick, making it a great option for a lunchtime visit. Overall, it's an ideal choice if you're in search of a quick meal.
Quick service. That's it. My appetizer came out with my burrito. This has to be the smallest burrito in the world. I've been here twice I will not be going back. I feel rushed. Only 1 glass of water. Amazing Mexican good hidden in a shopping mall. It was just as good as yelpers said. You know when you walk in and hear both English and Spanish it will be good food. My extremely picky husband said it was magical and some of the best authentic food we've had and we live in CA with a TON of good Mexican food.
I have been a fan of Los Pablos for a long time but the quality has suffered lately. Service is rushed, the food comes out quickly but is generslly over cooked. Chips are bitter as if tge frying oil has not been changed. Can't recommed it anymore.
My daughter I ate here for lunch. I had shrimp tacos she had steak nachos. My tacos were pretty good. Her steak was tender had great flavor. Service was good prompt. A little language barrier, but other than that, I will be back.
I absolutely love this restaurant! They serve the best food that any restaurant should offer. Los Pablos is, without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, far surpassing Los Rayes.

Another good restaurant found on Yelp. Excellent food. CCR provided the music. Only mark down was the dirty floor. Although this was a busy Sunday afternoon.
