I came from the US, visiting Bury St Edmunds 30 years after having lived there for a few years as a child. My friend and I happened upon Lottie's and it was love at first glance! But the love didn't stop at the amazing ambience! Lottie's chestnut praline latte was INCREDIBLE!! I would fly back from the US simply to have this drink again! It was so good I also got one to go before leaving. I risked getting a ticket for parking too long just so I could have one for the road! And while I was lucky and didn't get a ticket, it would have been worth every sip! Lottie was so kind and very welcoming. The whole experience was 5 stars! The best place for food in Bury St Edmunds, everything served in this cafe is fresh and so tasty. The waffles really taste like you are in heaven not to sweet, just perfect and the homemade gelato is so delicious my favourite was the salted caramel. The service is very good, and nothing is too much trouble to change topping on waffles which my niece was doing. The best thing is how beautiful the setting is, eating beautifully presented food in a beautiful setting everything is ready for a photo.
Suffolk has now become my new go-to spot! I initially stopped by for a quick takeaway coffee as I was heading into town, but the S'mores hot chocolate on the menu caught my attention. I decided to order it and it was absolutely fantastic! It was hands down the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. I am already looking forward to coming back and sitting inside this beautiful place to try more items on the menu, as everything looks delicious.
Wow this place is beautiful! outstanding desserts, the gelato is all homemade and delicious everything here is fresh to make and so tasty. the staff are all lovely so friendly and helpful. the design and layout of the cafe is beautiful perfect for an instagram photo 100% would recommend and want to come back

the best Desserts i have ever tried for a very long time! the waffles are hot and fresh and you can have any toppings on either a bubble or Belgium waffle. everything is delicious in this place my favourite waffle is the Strawberry Dreamboat belgium waffle with added Nutella.
The service was rude and made a disrespectful comment. The drinks were very small and were quickly finished. The halloumi fries were overly salty, so be cautious about your salt intake for the rest of the day if you order them.
Every monts we are visit this restaurant and never disappointed. The owners create a great atmosphere and the best waffles with ice cream. Ignore negative comments . you need just visit them: highly recommend
Lovely time in Lotties, we had a lovely birthday brunch, the food is presented lovely and tastes amazing to. Pink hot chocolate is one of there famous drinks and it’s beautiful and tastes beautiful to.

Do not waste your time trying the afternoon tea at this restaurant. It is not worth it and the service is terrible. I will never go back. What a letdown.
Beautiful setting and beautiful food! Everything in this cafe is thought out so well, very nice vibes inside and amazing for kids
