We enjoyed a fabulous tasting menu dinner on our trip to Derbyshire. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our food was wonderful, each course complementing the others. We enjoyed the five-course lunch menu, and it was outstanding—well-balanced and incredibly flavorful. We left still relishing the delicious food. As for parking, the entire town was bustling with long queues; what usually takes 35 minutes to drive turned into an hour and fifteen minutes. Meal type: Lunch. Price per person: £60–70.

It was another lovely evening at Lovage. The quality of the food was excellent. As a vegetarian, I was disappointed that the menu was the same as the previous 2 visits. I have now had the gnocchi 3 times. I don't think I will come again if there is no change for vegetarians. Reserva una mesa ahora

The best meal by far during our weekend in the area. We chose from the al a carte menu everything was delicious beautifully presented. Dish of the day has to be the soup with the cheese toastie though, a real crowd pleaser. Lovely staff too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The tasting menu was amazing with an excellent, educational wine flight. This restaurant is an absolute asset right in the heart of Bakewell. Certainly the best in the area.
