On our way back home after getting supplies, we decided to stop by Lucharitos in Melville for some tacos. The atmosphere was brightly lit and had a festive decor. The staff was friendly and checked in on us often. For food, we tried the Nacho Man ground beef taco. The toppings were generous, but some of the tortilla chips were stale. We rated it 3 out of 5. We also tried the Al Pastor Tacos Marinated Pork with Pineapple. The pork had good flavor but was a bit dry. Again, we gave it a rating of 3 out of 5. Lastly, we tried the Carne Asada Taco steak taco, which was really tasty.
Went for lunch here. Ordered food ahead of time for pickup. Got there and they gave me the food, but they didn’t give me the drinks. Had to go back and get them. Waited in the front, every waiter kept looking at me like I had the plague. Finally got help, only for them to tell me to head to the bar area. Not only did I waste time waiting, but they couldn’t give me a bag with said drinks. Why was 2 drinks $10? Thats highway robbery. Food was cold by the time I picked it up. Wasn’t good either. You’re guacamole was a whole joke. You’re staff isn’t good either.
The food at this place is by far the worst I ever eaten at any place I ordered a nachos with ground meat, and who has told this people about cabish on top of nachos..plus the bottom of the plate looks like they have served me soup, chips were full of grease and the meat like if it had been cooked for a week and forgotten in the cooler shelve.The whole thing looked like a plate of vomit. That bad that my wife ended up with stomachache at night.Don't waste your money go elsewhere.Will never go back.Ps,I rated 1star because it won't zero stars.
We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night and sat outside (the heaters were great!). Our server was Jayda and she was fantastic! There was lots of friendly conversation and wonderful service. We ordered the Saturday nacho special which was delicious, and we were shocked by the size of the portion! I had a mango margarita, which was excellent. For my main course, I chose the chicken burrito bowl and added shrimp to it. It was incredibly delicious and fresh! We were very satisfied with the food.

This is the first time we eat here. We ordered Frida?s salad bowl with grilled chicken. There?s a lot of water on the bottom of salad bowl to the point that it looks like soup in a bowl. We asked if this is normal. The waiter checked other veggies in the kitchen and he told us that the cook just took the vegetables right out of a bucket and water is dripping from it so it?s fresh. After months if driving by this place is finally open! Woo! The atmosphere was very good here. Everything was clean, and the staff were all super friendly. I ordered the Lucha style Fondido for a starter. The taste was very good and the dip portion they gave was very generous. My only complaint is that they gave a tiny handful of chips then charge me $2 for more. I also ordered the duck tacos. A little on the expensive side but not many places serve duck tacos. The taste

Placed an order here one night and it came out all wrong. A few days later, I went back to see if anything could be done about this. Chris, the manager, went above and beyond to compensate for the mixed up order. This guy deserves a raise!We got two burritos and they were huge, stuffed full of heavenly goodness. The chips are also prepared just right, crispy, light, and perfectly salted. I would absolutely recommend eating here.
