I was visiting Mirepoix with a friend. She lives in the area and recommended this little cafe. It looks into the medieval square of this ancient town. The owners appear to be English and serve good English fare, including a full English breakfast ( including one for vegetarians). The are many other lighter options; toast, scones, toasties etc... Friendly service. It is s good spot to watch the world go by.
some may think I make a fixation on this "so british" cake, but the recipe has been greatly improved. the more the taste of yeast, mellow to wish, dried grapes very mellow, too, on golden egg, a real treat. The reception is still a little warm, but courteous, very courteous. We're progressing!Thank you for this pleasant moment
You can have a full English breakfast here any time. Lots of sandwiches and veggie fare with decent portions was in the range, with coffee about Service was fine. Has loo, and interesting little book exchange where you can purchase used...English books for it goes to charity.

My wife and I were searching for a restaurant in Mirepoix that had veg options, and were very happy to find teh Mad hatter's as they have different tasty vegan menus
Great sandwiches and salads for a very reasonable price! Also, they serve food between lunch and dinner (the French cafes and restaurants for the most part do not).
I moved to this place to have a coffee. The boss is English and very welcoming. We swim in a very friendly British atmosphere. coffee is delicious and cheap.
