What was a very strong start ended up culimating in an anticlimactic dessert course, but overall my experience at La Maison Bleue was very positive. The starters and venison were very much the stars of the show, and the staff was attentive and helpful in answering my questions. Great for a date night, especially if your partner and you are comfortable grazing off eachother's plate! Went for my son's birthday, and whilst the food is top quality, I feel slightly peeved that you only get a menu choice from 2 set menus only . Can't fault the staff, very attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Was good as a one off experience, but probably wouldn't go again. The website says Lunch : Daily Fixed Priced Menu with choices) £39.95pp. Available for Lunch from Tuesday to Friday £42pp from 14th May But when I called today Ito confirm I was told “I think it’s £49 now “ I don’t think it’s cool to advertise one price on line and another on the day Can’t comment on the food because I didn’t want to book after finding that out

What an amazing restaurant! Took my wife for her birthday with our daughter we all throughly enjoyed the food and the excellent service at very reasonable cost. Will be going back again! Thankyou! Gorgeous experience here last night, The waiters were all super attentive and service was spot on. The food took my taste buds on a journey from start to finish, every mouthful offering a new hit of flavour and the quality was outstanding. 1000% reccomend. Excellent service, delicious food, good value (in comparison to other restaurants) Although not all of the dishes were completely to my taste, the food was faultless and the additional touches eg amuse bouche, petit fours and linen napkins made for a special experience. Recommended.
