We have been before and it has been fine, but just finished a takeaway from there tonight and it was the worst Chinese meal I have ever eaten. Pancake rolls weird sweet flavour, Egg fried rice, sticky and not fried, some bits not cooked properly odd taste. Sweet and sour chicken balls tiny chicken in too much batter and odd tasting S&S sauce. Chop suey was fine. Chicken satay was just a mild curry taste, nothing close to usual satay flavour, odd taste. Special chow mein essentially had no meat in. Chips dry but edible Prawn crackers fine. Called to complain, but they just pick up the phone and hang up again. My favourites from MG Truro are the Hot Sour soup with either an extra hot Singapore Chow Mein or Spicy Chilli Chicken with a curry sauce and fried rice.

I myself and woman sought somewhere for a meal and stumbled over this restaurant. we went in and a dame greeted us immediately and showed us to table, service was fantastic eating was amazing and freshly cooked and very large portions. the owner was funny and friendly is highly recommended
a great meal. the curry was so casual that it was like suppe and tasteless. very small portions and the rice was, well I am not quite sure how to explain it! overpriced and bad quality. service was the best part of our experience.

a beautiful restaurant with family business. we visited with children and they were treated so beautifully, even with a sucker at the end of the meal. that was great, we all had a nice time. thank you for being back!
