We've been looking for such a place since Hop Louies closed his doors in Chinatown over 10 years ago! This place is old school cool.its dark with bright lanterns..stiff Polynesian type cocktails (think Mai Tais, Scorpions, blue Hawaiians! and our server Andy was absolutely amazing!! Just a tip if you don't feel too hungry, order the Pupu plate and a few cocktails and you are set!! The spits, egg rolls and coconut yarns with the plate are TOP NOTCH, my husband loved the paper wrapped chicken and ribs, yum! The dish is served with a glowing little fire burner that you grill your food on everything was just so well combined with excellent service, we will definitely be back and forth!
Great food, great service! I love the decorations and general atmosphere, it is vintage, but very well maintained, not at all dirty or worn out feeling. I grew up in this kind of family style Casual Ess (also a great choice for larger assemblies! And I'm sure that many who grew up in Southern California would find this place just as I did. Have only a good service and great food here, and they serve alcohol at a very reasonable price, this must go a certain one in my book!
We started coming here before the pandemic, you stay in operation and make delicious food, my wife likes the tropical drinks, try the Scorpion. We sometimes go vegetarian, they have good choices for it. Enter and support our local Chinese restaurant. Date: Still delicious, we stop after running border late 8:00-8:30 no problem. My wife likes the Scorpion potion. Hot and acid soup always good and fast, no tofu for us. Mixed vegetables are delicious and healthy. Go.
We got out of town and found the restaurant with a little search. Great food, friendly and helpful service, and very affordable. If you're on the road and need a good place to eat, take him from another town. Try the cooked cantons in the hot sauce BBQ Pig... They won't be disappointed.

Mandarin Taste has become our favorite Chinese food restaurant out of the many places we've dined. We have enjoyed every dish we've eaten. The service is great and the staff are kind and attentive. Food is prepared quickly for take out.

Went there for a romantic dinner on a Saturday. The food was very nice but romantic it was not they were preparing the buffet area for the Sunday brunch just next to us. They should wait until the restaurant is empty.
