I ordered a beef dinner late in the evening on June 23, 2022. When I got home, I realized they had mistakenly given me a chicken dinner instead. I called back and spoke to a man named Ricardo, who accused me of having ordered chicken and insisted there was no mistake. Bizarrely, he said he was waiting for me to suggest a solution to resolve the issue. After a long drive home, I really didn't want to go back out, so I offered to pick up the correct order the next day. We felt a bit cramped during our visit. I give it 3 stars for taste. After looking at the reviews, we decided to order, but calling our portions small is an understatement. The flavors were fantastic, but there wasn't much to really savor. The pernil was decent, but I only got a small piece (mostly fat), and the rest of my meal was just rice. I paid for pork, not just rice. My husband's meal, which was supposed to be a "queen" portion, turned out to be more like a small burrito, and it cost us $35. We were really disappointed.

As a huge fan of Peruvian cuisine, I was thrilled to discover this restaurant in San Jose. Previously, I would travel to Philadelphia or NYC for my Peruvian fix, but now I know about this amazing spot! The restaurant is very nice and clean, and the owners, who are from Lima, are wonderful. The food is made to order and tastes delicious, with generous portions. My absolute favorites are the ceviche and the yuca frita with garlic sauce. I can’t wait to try more delicious dishes from Peru soon!

Great little Peruvian spot. Go with the arroz con pollo, the chicken was good but the rice was a real winner. The veggies cooked in really gave each bite a nice pop of flavor. The lomo saltado was another delicious choice. The sauce could make anything taste great. Also if you?re looking for some heat, the green salsa is amazing. Reserva una mesa ahora

Was here a few times and we always have a great experience. The food is delicious and super fresh. The staff is friendly and respectful. I also like they have specialties and they write it on the board when you come first. It seems to be the only Peruvian restaurant in the area, and I plan to get a lot more.

I went there with my lady and the food was spectacular and the service was excellent very nice people. family oriented and great latin, Spanish cuisine I can't thank them enough they were so hospitable . Great food served hot and fresh. 5 stars isn't enough?.
