This place is super cute BUT I felt harassed afterwards… I ordered the bibimbap, it had absolutely no flavor.. I wanted to eat it plain but I couldn’t because it was so bland, i tried putting the spicy sauce to add some flavor but it did nothing… I couldn’t even finish half of it. My friend got the kimchi jjigae and she said it was really good so there’s that. Some of the side dishes also lacked flavor/seasoning, but the kimchi was good. Now… the price… I ordered the bibimbap which was 13.99 and my friend ordered the kimchi jjigae which was 11.99. The bulgogi and stone pot bibimbap are so delicious. The rice seems old. Galbitang has a lot of ingredients, but it doesn’t taste like galbitang… What is beaten egg in galbitang? The soft tofu white rice was okay. I went there because I heard it tasted like home-cooked food, but I was very disappointed..
This restaurant is a family owned business and you will get a homie feeling. Great service and food is amazingly good. I would recommend the Bimbipop but get it served with a hot stone we ordered just a plate and it was bit cold. But other than that it was great experience.
Great authentic Korean cuisine. Took my friend who lived near Seoul for a few years. Fun to watch him surprise the staff who barely spoke English with his Korean. It is small and doesn't look like much, but it is totally worth it. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
