I have visited this restaurant several times in the last month and noticed that someone else mentioned the employees in a previous review. While I am not overly picky, I have always found the staff at this location to be loud and complaining every time I have visited. Today, I ordered a soup and bread bowl, but when I returned to work, I realized I had been given a large soup instead. I went back to the restaurant and the employee told me that I had been charged for a large soup. I explained that the woman who took my order had repeated my request for a bread bowl twice. Terrible customer service. Was treated very rudely by manager Rebecca. Placed delivery order through Panera app. Was never delivered. Took me 7 phone calls and 20 minutes to get someone to answer. My bad luck, that I got a grumpy, too-busy-to-be-bothered “manager” who was unempathetic and dismissive. Not only was Rebecca M. rude, she refused to help. Asked for manager, and she said she was the manager. Asked for district manager’s name (am told it is Fred Duffy) and contact information. Refused to give me his number and the email address she gave me bounces back as undeliverable (surprise surprise).
Typical Panera by appearance but poorly managed. Pick up orders consistently late and recent order had a very long hair in the sandwich despite it taking over 20 minutes to make. Great prices and delicious coffee! However, I attempted to use a gift card, but it wasn't accepted. During my visit, there were also some mix-ups with orders. I'll consider trying a different place next time.
