The restaurant is nice, but the ambiance was not fine dining. I made a reservation for my birthday, and I saw the note on the reservation list, but the hostess seemed confused about the note and the staff did not do anything birthday-ish. I had a great server who did his best to check on me. The restaurant offered a 3-course and 4-course option, and both were priced well. I chose the 3 course with salad, entree, and dessert. The Asian salad was delicious as was the fresh bread. I had the steak with mashed potatoes and zucchini, all of which was average, then topped with sauted spinach, which was horribly salty. Wonderful Brunch in historic spot!This is a unique and historic restaurant and they serve a delicious brunch. We enjoyed the mimosas and bacon **** Marys. Everyone liked their entrees, except for the crab cakes (they were dry). Big portions and even my picky father liked his Eggs Benedict!Don't skip on trying the coffee cake they serve before the meal, what a delight!Reservations are a must! Excellent service as well, even met the owner.The patio looked amazing but it had just snowed (in May) so we had to eat inside. It's small inside due to the historic nature of the restaurant.If you have a chance, try this restaurant out and skip the chains, it will be worth it.

this was a 6-month anniversary and we wanted something special. neither of us had been marerita at the pine, so it was our virgin drive. everything was perfect. the greeting, the ambiente, the waiting staff and the eating were all amazing and to complete everything, the prices were actually very reasonable. ashley was sweet and creepy and very accommodating. we had a charcuterie for an appetizer, the salmon and ny stripes and they did not disappoint. we can't wait to go back!
Beautiful venue! Lovely staff. Soups and salads were great, we didn't want to default to the NY Strip steak, so we tried other entrees, they were okay. Imagine with the rotating menu they keep things interesting here, so will return. We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant during a recent Colorado vacation. Coming from New York we are used to fine dining in many different restaurants. This restaurant does not disappoint! The food service was excellent and staff and owner were very friendly. The atmosphere is great! Food and desserts were delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
