I have been coming for lunch on and off for many years. I am never disappointed with the service or the friendliness of the staff. They recently remodeled the dining room which makes for an even more enjoyable experience. However what matters most is the food. From the variety of gourmet pizza to the unique sandwiches I am never disappointed. Today I had a pizza with sausage, peppers onions. Last week I had The “God Father” sandwich. I highly recommend trying Maria’s Pizza Restaurant in Wharton. You are sure to love it.
They don’t like you to ask too many questions and god forbid you ask for anything and not get an attitude. If your old and tired. If your Sick of the business Retire. Don’t need any attitude or favors. Just be pleasant. The pizza is over cooked. It has good flavor but it was charred on the bottom. With that attitude. I would expect perfectly done pizza. Beware they charge transaction fee plus tax and service fee.
This is my go to place for a slice or to for a pie takeaway. They are fast, polite, and the pizza is fresh and has great flavor. We ate in a few times and love their personal pizzas too. Definitely the best pizza in a 10 mile radius.
This pizzeria is one of the BEST in the Tri-state area! My favorites are the garlic knots, the entrees, Italian sub, and the appetizers! It's a cute little place to dine in as well! Comfortable atmosphere! Friendly service!

Google reviews brought us here, and we were not disappointed! The experience was casual and easy, and the food was simple and amazing. Our group ordered items ranging from salad to sandwiches to pasta. We left happy.

Grew up with Maria’s Pizza and it’s still as good as when I was a kid. Their plain and pepperoni slices are top tier.
