When my order arrived, I was pleased to see an Italian beef sandwich topped with a generous layer of melted mozzarella cheese, all wrapped in slightly toasted garlic bread (the garlic bread was an extra charge). The sandwich was served alongside perfectly crispy crinkle-cut fries with a side of cheese (also an additional charge). After taking a bite, I knew I had made a fantastic choice for lunch.
While I wouldn't say it's definitively better than Portillo's, I can confidently say it's on the same level. For all the Portillo's fans out there, I encourage you to give this place a try—I really don’t think you'll be disappointed. I'm now a fan myself and plan to be a regular customer.

We live around the corner and this place is go-to for pizza. A little pricey, but damned if I don 't house an entire XL with just 2 adults eating out of a legit inability to control my need for another mouthwatering slice. Usually go Hawaiian or something with Italian sausage which is 10/10 on flavor. Their Pan/Deep dish is also a knockout. Didn 't know they crushed Italian Beef too, so that will be my next foray. May not be authentic NYC style, but it 's gotta be among your best options in NW Northbrook/Wheeling area.
The lunch menu and specials here are fantastic, with reasonable prices for both the food and drinks. Everything is delicious, whether you choose their pizza, hot dogs, Italian beef, or chicken parmesan. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that the restaurant's interior has seen better days; it's not awful, but a refresh or a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. Overall, though, this spot is a real gem in the area for lunch. Highly recommended!
Every Thursday, my friends and I have an Italian beef day, and the only place that satisfies our cravings is Marisa! We've been coming here for over 15 years, and we absolutely love it! The Italian beef special, with garlic bread topped with cheese and hot peppers, is incredible. It outshines most of the other Italian beef options out there!

One of the beautiful pizzeria in Northbrook Chicago. I tried White Pizza on a recommendation and I loved it. The service is fast and punctual. There are fairly available seats in the store. But it's not too cozy. Many parking spaces are available outside.
