Market Street Café

We visit often, either for morning coffee, breakfast or lunch with friends or alone. A well prepared menu featuring several egg dishes, sandwiches, light lunches etc. Nice pies or butter tarts for dessert. Service is always very good. Lately very large coffee mugs are being...used, although there is plenty of coffee it now cools down very quickly before you can drink it all. I would like to see a return to the smaller mug and refill. Excellent food quality.

Met a friend here to catch up before heading out for a few art shows. Prices were awesome for the quality of food. Had Eggs Benedict with ham on a fresh soda bisquit which was good. You could substitute a fruit bowl for homefries for...a small upcharge. This is a laidback place, and service matches it, but was perfect for our purpose. Not fancy, but I that is not whatt tries to be.

My husband and I have enjoyed breakfast here on 3 occasions and each time the food was exactly as we ordered cooked to perfection. My husband must have his food hot and fresh and that’s exactly what he gets here. Kudos to the chef and...not to mention the amazing service. Will be back next time we are in the area.

This little cafe is in Fergus, ON in the old market place. The food is great, service excellant. Am never disapointed. Strongly recomend it. Fergus is a lovely old town with very long scotish history.Lots of shops and sights to see including the Grand River...Love it here It's a great place to visit. Reserva una mesa ahora

today to market street cafe. google said they were open, but the sign said closed and it looks like they were renovating? everything was pushed onto a side and the bar-out area is completely gone. I hope they're just renovating because they have good food. I look forward to the breakfast poutine!

I have eaten quite regularly in market street cafe and look forward to doing this again when this covid19 chaos is over. your waiting staff is friendly and attentive, eating is fresh and quality, and the whole mood of the place is wonderfully relaxed...and clean without preaching.

always enjoy at the market cafe in fergus. great meal, friendly environment and clean restaurant! a beautiful selection on the menu, which is always served hot with a large cup coffee. delicious corntoast served with homemade jams! yummy!

So delicious! We had home fries, two sandwiches and a salad. Tons of food, well worth the money and delicious. Wish they were open more on the weekend as we find it hard to get here during their open hours. Highly recommend. Reserva una mesa ahora

a good place for a family breakfast on a rainy Saturday morning. Tables are stool height. Great friendly service by the owner. That kind of place. Biscuits are a favorite with my daughter. Price very fair.

great caffe for the whole day breakfast good coffee / tee etc. . warm welcome from the personal. they also take with busier at the weekend.
