Top-tier donut place. I finally got a chance to check out Mark's Do-Nut Shop after reading about all the great reviews. First of all, my favorite food is donut and I usually lean towards the local and hole-in-the-wall bakeries and try to check them all out. I would have to say that Mark's Do-Nut is one of the best, if not, the best donut place in Central Arkansas and I've been to quite a bit. Their glazed is huge and perfect(doughy, fluffy, and the perfect sweetness). I also tried a few of their cream filled donuts and was very impressed with them. I will continue to check this place out a few more times and see if they are consistent with their donuts but excited to find this little gem. No...
During a recent trip to the area a friend told me about Mark's Donuts. I did not expect to be impressed as I already had a favorite Donut place in Boston. The pillows of deliciousness created by Mark's are fabulous! These airy flavorful delights have replaced my old love of Dunkin Donuts. As a matter of fact, there is no comparison. Mark's has created the perfect donut. Puffy with a balanced amount of sweetness. I was so impressed with these donuts I am unable to partake in my old habit of Dunkin. I now have a new favorite to which no other can possibly match. Sadly, this little treat will have to be an annual tradition. In the meantime, I will fondly remember the party in my mouth courtesy...
Had a bad experience today went inside to get donuts waited 10 minutes got ignored by a buster brown black haired glasses wearing gentleman he screwed up order at drive through window had the guy come in to redo order he still never acknowledged me.Then the young quiet blonde with glasses came from back never acknowledged me went straight to drive through window and waitedon someone else I left after that. I've been going to Mark's for years the employees may be hard workers but their people skillsneed to improve. All you got to say is be with you in a minute. Don't be scared, it's easy.
Love/hate relationship with Mark's. They are by far the best donuts in the area, however even though they don't close until 11, if it's after 8 don't bother. Today at 8:20 on a Friday they had cinnamon rolls and jelly filled. That's it, no glazed, nochocolate. If it is was a one off I would understand, but we stopped trying to get from here because of this. Today was takinganother shot, but just as expected they were out of everything. Mark's best in the world. I would challenge anyone to find a better donut anywhere. Never had anything from Mark's that wasn't delicious. Perfection is not an overstatement. Mark's has been around for years and if you live in Arkansas and have never been there, you're missing out. A true Arkansas treasure.
