We came for dinner after watching Anne of Green Gables. We were a party of 7 and some errors occurred which made the experience underwhelming.My family ordered some apps so I had to wait for dinner until those were done.I ordered the veg burger with no bun or cheese and my mom ordered it with everything. They brought the other entrees first but when mine came out it had cheese so it had to be redone (making me....the one without apps, more hungry).One son ordered a chicken dish but canceled it to share a variety of apps with my husband. I was in tonight with my friend for late supper, started off well the server she was nice and I had picked a delicious bottle of wine to start off with apps.Carlos the manager had come to ID us after the server had taken our order, and asked us if we had been drinking prior to, he checked on us few too many times for our comfort. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Mavors last night. The meal was delicious, and we felt it was a great value for our money. Our server, Katie, was excellent, making it a thoroughly enjoyable evening! The only downside was that despite there being many empty tables, we were seated in a brightly lit area with uncomfortable chairs. Although there were candles on the tables, they were not lit, and the lights were not dimmed. We will definitely return, but next time we will request a table in a different area with softer lighting and more comfortable seating. Overall, we had a great experience, but improving the ambience a bit would be our only suggestion.

We made reservations at Mavor's because is very convenient to the the theatre where the Anne of Green Gables musical was presented. It was a good choice and we enjoyed our meal. I had mussels as an appetizer and they were fresh and well-prepared. Both my wife and enjoyed a brisket special with cooked vegetables that were quite good; it was a lot of food. Desserts were good. The seafood chowder at this restaurant is the best I've ever had, and I've traveled extensively. The other dishes are also exceptional, as is the service. Additionally, a selection of appetizers are half price after 9 pm. After seeing the Anne of Avonlea show, we stopped in for some snacks and drinks, which was a lovely surprise.

Reallly enjoyed our specials lunch of lobster mac and cheese. It was full of good size pieces of lobster, and the dish was hot and fresh. It came with either a salad or chips. We had one of each and there was plenty to share between us. Nice setting and friendly helpful staff. Good value lunch.

Went for lunch. Interior and decor was very nice, beautiful art on the walls. Food was delicious and high quality. Service was great, we were in a large group but our server was excellent. Would definitely visit again.

Dropped in for a quick lunch while visiting art gallery and confederation museum. Excellent and very good lunch value.
