A Royal Treat at Mawada Restaurant Embodiment of Culinary Excellence My experience at Mawada restaurant was nothing short of exquisite a grand feast for the senses, combining fine dining with the heart of traditional, authentic fare. In an era where authenticity is hard to come by, Mawada has seamlessly woven true tradition with a modern dining experience, resulting in a harmonious symphony of flavors and atmospheres. Right from the first bite of the Sultani, I was transported. This distinctive dish masterfully combined a charbroiled fine meso kabob, juicy lamb, and Smokey chicken bread seared and marinated to perfection. The flavors were outstanding; they simultaneously whispered of time ho...

I came to Mawadda Cafe on Sat night. There were no customers in the restaurant, but we decided to eat. The store was well organized and the tables were clean. It took us quite some time to choose the menu. In the meantime, two people came in and picked up food. We ordered a veggie combo and a Samosa Plate. The food took a long time to come probably the restaurant was busy with phone and online orders. Veggie combo is a fresh made spanakopita triangular spinach pies, falafel, hummus, and stuffed grape. This dish was quite large and even two people could not finish it. Spanakopita triangular spinach pie is crispy and has a strong spinach flavor, falafel is a little salty for me but a good tast...

Oily, not fresh anymore. Disgusting. I'm sick and not being myself anymore. Last and final . Use to be the best, but now in my books, no more! Thought of this place all the time, but if you need a stroke or fast heart attack, this is the place for you. The only best thing here is the pita bread. The salad, no way too large and old mixed small portions and the rice, OMG, Disgusting , so smell like animals crawl into the mix. The lamb shank was too oily, and the gyros had no flavor . The prices are not even worth the compliment to the chef. This place used to be the worth wild for my grandchildren, but now they go next door to the Terriyaki house, then here. Was amazed with their reaction turn...

I thought I was familiar with falafel, but after trying the vegetarian plate at Mawadda Cafe Burien, I was proven wrong. The falafel was flavorful and moist, paired perfectly with spicy and tender seeds (perhaps Fennel or Caraway). The staff member who took my order graciously allowed me to substitute eggplant for the pita bread, and the first bite of the perfectly cooked aubergine was like a spiritual experience. The food at Mawadda Cafe is truly exceptional, with each bite lifting the spirit. If you're in the mood for Mediterranean cuisine and enjoy a taste of heaven with each bite, be sure to visit Mawadda Cafe for a delicious meal that will make your day even better. Yum! First of all, the food here is fantastic! Everything I have eaten from this place is well prepared and delicious. I especially recommend the lamb shank, the chicken shawarma, and the sambosas. That said, I would recommend getting takeout, rather than dining in, especially if you are dining later in the evening. Both Google and the posted sign on their door state they are open until 9pm, but we have not found that to be the case. Twice we have come in around the 8:00 hour (the first time we thought it might have been a one time fluke), and seated, only to get rude and reluctant service, and parts of our order either incorrect or totally missing.

The lamb shank was juicy and tender, but the flavors weren’t quite there. It just tasted like it was canned tomato sauce poured over it. It lacked spice and seasoning. I would eat again only if they improved on the flavors. Spanakopita’s we’re delicious. Had a light thin crust and melted in my mouth. My only suggestion is that they don’t place the hot food immediately into the styrofoam container causing it to melt on the food. I would highly suggest using a small sheet of aluminum foil to line the bottom to prevent this.

I wanted a chicken gyro but the place I originally called was sold out. We came here to Mawadda Cafe and got the “Chicken Sandwich.” It’s like a gyro but has Shawarma chicken instead. It’s sooo good omg. Also got a Baklava, was good too; it had pistachios and tasted like lemon.

The food here is great! It’s Mediterranean and middle eastern and there’s something for everyone. Great bold flavors. There is a wait so order ahead. One dish I ordered had pita and there was only one peice. On the other hand my salad was huge! The spanokopita is so rich! Reserva una mesa ahora

After a long week of school, we decided to order two sandwiches to go from Masada Cafe: chicken shwarma and eggplant. The flavors of the chicken and eggplant were absolutely delicious. This place is truly a hidden gem. Thank you!
