Mckibbins Irish Pub

we recently held on a Saturday for an early evening meal. my companion and I ordered both fish and chips. the portions seemed huge first, but the fish was in a very thick oily dough. the homemade pommes were pretty good, and the koleslawin was wonderful. the in-house music was very loud, like the band of the musicians who appeared. they bring earplugs when they are sensitive to noise. I had to use paper napkins. the atmosphere was friendly and jovial. the disappointment of the evening was a very small piece of cheesecake at an exorbitant I mentioned to the owner, but he did not seem worried. I sent it back to the next sucker. the service was nice.

So after work a friend and I stopped here for drinks and a bite. I had a Guinness, she a white wine. Ordered a plate of Nachos; then I ordered the Shepherd's Pie (Lamb), and she ordered the Open Face Hamburger, all dressed. My plate...was sufficient size, and tasty, a little pepper added and I was good to go. I enjoyed it fully. My lady friend enjoyed her hamburger immensely. We would go back, and have been there several times. Mostly an English environment, and was great to meet the people there. Menus was good, and drinks aplenty.

I was at the pointe Claire-Location, but that was my first time eating at the vaudreuil mckibbins. we were a group of by golf and everyone seemed happy with our sortiment at meal times, especially fish and chips. the service was friendly and the beer was cold.

we have been here for many years and love it. or Sunday for lunch. when they go to lunch on a saturday leah, the waitress is in the rule. She's amazing. so sweet and remembers what we drink. even remembers bringing ice for my wein. good food too.

Food was horrible, overcharged for drinks. Managers response.....sorry you feel that way. Do yourselves a favour and stay away.
