I used to love comingt to Medusa but now their staff doesn’t speak English and it’s really hard to order our meals. My daughter has allergies and our group spent a good few min trying to ask a question to a red haired young waitress that speaks very little English. We think she was a waitress as she wasn’t wearing the usual uniform and was just eating behind the bar. When we got our food, it came wrong but we didn’t even complain because we knew she wouldn’t understand. The service used to be very good, the waitress were lovely and polite, but now it’s hard to order anything and as a loyal customer of Medusa for many years, I should say that you should hire front house staff that actually speaks English. We had a party for 15 booked but I’ll be cancelling it.
Ordered their seafood platter and meaty pizza (chicken, pepperoni, lamb) along with sides, and was really impressed. This was a home delivery, food arrived in about 40 minutes, pizza was just divine, garlic bread wonderfully fluffy, and the seafood was according to my partner, delicious. We'll be making a booking soon for an actual meal in the restaurant. But yes, seriously tasty food at reasonable prices! Food: 5
Received a very unexpected phone call today from Medusa. There was an issue with our recent takeaway order and they phoned to apologise and to say that they would be sending some complimentary food.
